Review: Davido-Mayorkun in The Best Video

Review: Davido Mayorkun in The Best Video – Truly the best.

I have watched the newly released video of the best track in Davido’s new album, and I must say that the Video is not just another regular packaged content but one with interesting acts.

Directed by Dammy Twitch, the best video song is acted like martials Arts of the Chinese taekwondo thing or Shaolin muscling in Kung fu .

Just like the song itself, Mayorkun’s character is like a stranger of a boy directed to Davido’s Fitscuff training centre, to learn how to fight to win, and he did got the training to face the best from another sect, the “Wande Coal’s group”.

Good to see the now round big posture of the amazing Wande coal.  Even though he didn’t say a word, in his role, but the line “se you sing pass Wande coal Pele” and that few minutes feature are sauces to the creative work.

For me The Best Video by Davido is simply Artistic, colourful, dramatic and theatric, all put together and I must give credits to the 25yrs old young Director – Apampa Damilola “Dammy twitch” for conceptualising something fitting for the Idea of the word “the best”, in a way that gives one the opportunity to imagine the theme and the message being passed.

In short, all these young brilliant talented guys are indeed game changers, and are forms of inspiration to others watching behind to follow.

From the beginning to the end, the video does justice to the music that is now a popular street Jamz . I heard it’s the top biggest song in some Africans countries like Zimbabwe, according to YouTube comments. I love it!.

With close to  1M views in less than 2days on YouTube, “the Best” might be one of the best videos of 2021.

I must also say that it’s interesting to hear that the entire video was shot in Lagos Nigeria. And the costume too? Dope!

Enjoy the video here.

You will love to watch and rewatch like you are studying a movie.
