Ace and Veteran broadcaster, Alhaji Dhikirullahi Kolawole Olootu, is surely gonna have a special birthday today Nov 16th, as the Olubadan of Ìbàdàn, Oba Saliu Adetunji Aje Oguguniso 1 makes him one of the Mogajis of Ìbàdàn land – making him to be in the league of future Olubadan by succession and ranking order.
According to an insider, this means a lot to the Baasoro of Yorubaland who is from the Adesun Family Compound of Yemetu Ibadan and the day has been fully booked with line of activities.

Short Biography of Otunba Kola Olootu
Chief Kola Olootu started his professional Broadcasting career as a freelancer in 1985, from the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS) Ile Akede, Orita Bashorun Ibadan and have gone through many stages of learning the art in the industry, and today he is Baasooro of Yorubaland, a title given to him in appreciation of his milestone contributions to Radio Broadcasting industry in Yoruba land.
Vocal, brave and kind – Kolà Olootu has used his On Air Personality to change the lives of many Nigerians using his influence to help seek financial, career and health assistance for many in need.
He was credited to be the one to have helped FreshFM Chairman, Yinka Ayefele to put his road accident’s story into a song years back, which culminated into the album “Bitter and Sweet Experience” and that fully kickstarted Ayelefe’s entry into full commercial Gospel signing.
Kola Olootu had also been very helpful to the likes of Baba Suwe for his health restoration, Alhaji Lanrewaju Adepoju – The Ewì exponent for his sight problem and more recently in bringing Chief Kanran’s living condition to public attention.
Aside Broadcasting, Kola Olootu is also a stakeholder in the Yorùbá film and music industry with history of good record of many Nostalgic events, which he often share on his many programmes on FreshFM and Lagelu FM, Ibadan.
