9ice Abolore Akande Drop out

The Ogbomoso born singer who dropped his hit song Gongo Aso in 2008 shared his journey as an Artiste with Funmi Iyanda, who incidentally is also from Ogbomoso town. In a two parts Interview, 9ice recollected how he was being pestered by a particular guy on that campus who belongs to a cult group, asking him to come and join the group and he decided to leave the campus, coupled with the financial challenge he was experiencing at that time, particularly on school fees payment.

It’s an emotional and inspiring story of 12yrs. It oozes of hope considering how life has changed for 9ice ever since then. Enjoy the interview here
